Here's how the scam works.
Scammer will request you send in-game items or Western Union first. Then run away after you've given away your possessions. If that fails and you require the scammer to trade first, they will send you a trojan and try to pass it off as a picture file (in-game screenshot or Western Union proof)

Pretty sure you can get hit with a double whammy by sending your payment or goods first and also downloading a virus.
